Good Morning all. I have a field trip thoday. Leaving in about 20 mins. Taking the Freshman boys to their football game.
Then Fred & I are going to the Fairfield County fair. Can't wait for that funnel cake! mmmm. The weather is going to make this the most beautiful day. Hopefully it holds out for us. Since we're camping next week-end.
Kathy, I tried to talk him into Little Farm but I got vetoed. :B I told him I wouldn't loose much. That I would stick with the Penny Slots. :B
See everyone in 2 weeks.

Good morning Robin, do you have a date in mind for the Kennywood rally?
Planning on the last week end in June. June 25 - 28. Beause of distance & activities planned, we are making it a Thurs to Sun Rally.
Here's a couple of links for things we have planned.

Are you guys planning to stay in Ohiopyle?
Benner's is about 10 min drive from Ohiopyle if that. Ohiopyle is dry camping. There is one cg in Ohiopyle-Jellystone. Fred & I reconned that a few years back and would not recommend it.
When we get closer to going, I will give directions on how to get to the CG for those faint at heart who don't want to handle the 5% mountain grade on Historic Route 40. :B

The CG is called Benner's Meadow Run
This is the only CG in the area that I have found full hook ups. I have searched high & low for others. I stay here when ever I go to visit my folks. Only about 10 minutes from Uniontown.
Did I mention the natural water slide? Really cool. Literally. Mountain water.
I have found one other just outside of Connesville but it's not close to all the stuff I mentioned in my previous post. All the stuff I mentioned is within about a 10 minute drive except for Kennywood. That will be about a 45 min. drive but very scenic. I figure when we know who all is going then we can carpool to Kennywood.

As some of you know I have been down with a really bad cold and last night was the 1st time in 2 weeks that I slept all night and got 9 hours of sleep. Look out world here I come.

Why is it that the same posts appear on 2 or 3 dofferent ohio rally threads? I thought we were posting on the the thread with the most recent Rally coming up with the exception of information posting on other threads pertaining to that said Rally/topic?

My Chris is turning 18 on Tuesday. And is moving into his own apt. And the best news of all is he starts college in Jan'09 !! :B
